Beware evil geniuses

On our way to Rockhampton we pass through a cutting just before Blackwater which has a fun roadside decoration. On top of one of the walls are a group of minions, like in the movies. The number varies (apparently some get stolen) and for Christmas one got a santa outfit. We've laughed at them often but finally stopped once to get a photo.

They're not just popular there. Here in Rubyvale there's one lurking atop a wrecked car that belongs to a now defunct business.

Should we be worried about the potential presence of evil inventors?
