Our Great British Adventure
May 5, 2018Poor weather is great for photography but I just didn't feel motivated to leave our snug little cottage to slog through mud for some great highland shots. It's something to regret as I'd been hoping for some non-snapshots on the trip, but the tripod never left the bag:( Lunch was at an excellent cafe in Drumnadrochit but that was as far as we travelled.
Once we'd entered the Highlands area of Scotland we discovered an obsession with "hairy coos" (say it!) - outrageously cute Highland cattle were the basis of most souvenirs for the region. So I started looking for some to photograph, without luck until Drumnadrochit. North of the village was a field with a small herd. They were uncooperative (photographically) but at least I got a shot of an iconic animal!
