One of the features that helped sell this place to us was the large, enclosed shade house for growing veggies. Sadly the previous owners were ill for a long time and it became quite neglected so we (mostly me) have been spending an hour or so most mornings before the heat starts cleaning it out and getting pots of fruit and veg going.
We also started re-netting and shoring up the base of the netting as unwelcome visitors started coming by who especially adore chillis and chilli plants, with capsicum a close second. We re-located the trap from the roof and have had a steady flow of captures. Hopefully we've now plugged up all the gaps.
Naturally lizards and the like can get through, though I wasn't expecting to disturb this green tree snake beside some pots. It fled for the nearest bush, but I stalked it to get a photo:)
